Jeff Dickey: CloudFlare Review

CloudFlare is an easy to use optimization tool for websites, essentially taking over the responsibilities of a CDN. The author expressed concern over the unknowns and behind the scenes magic. From his description it sounds a bit sketchy. Also offers a lot of benefits for anyone not using a CDN and not much for those that are.

A good description of a what a CDN is in the article.

Fight For The Future: SOPA Video

Awesome video discussing the massive pitfalls of the SOPA legislation.

Note: Even if SOPA gets passed by our JOKE for a government, I believe it will be struck down by the courts for numerous constitutional violations.

Watch it.

Religion Dispatches: Jesus, Carpet Bombed My Heart: An Undercover Muslim in Detroit

The author went to a christian conference called the call and observed what was going on. Initially it focused on love piece and diversity, but one segment was anti-Muslim speaker that demonized the entire religion and claimed to be a former Muslim. There were also undertones of shipping muslims out of the US and other mean spirited ideas.

Thoughts: A very interesting, but somewhat biased perspective on this Christian event. Also very a even analysis.
